UberConference is a complement to Google Docs that allows several people to gather at a conference to view and work on a file without they need to be in the same office desk – or college.
If you are working together on a job file or CBT College, for example, will not be necessary to gather the whole group in a meeting room.
Through UberConference, the file will be displayed in real time and you can chat with all the people to discuss the document information and make improvements in content.
General calling for the conference
To utilize the free add-on, you will need to authorize it in your Chrome browser and access the “Add-in”, “UberConference” and “Show sidebar” options. That done, a window will open in the right corner of your screen, showing your call number and PIN code.
The supplement provides an option for you to invite people to the conference, including a feature that will enable recording of the entire conversation with just one click on “Record” icon.
If during the conference you are not available to talk, just to share their opinions through a chat which will also appear at the time the call is initiated. Remember that the add-on will automatically create an account for UberConference using your Google email.
UberConference is a great option for those who walk too busy and can not be present at meetings all the time tables. However, the supplement may seem simple, but in practice is much more complex than you think.
Draw others to the conference until it was quick and easy. The invitation to the guests arrived via an email and soon they were in the same call to the tests were performed.
The chat messages worked perfectly and shared document was also shown – albeit with a median quality and a certain kind of delay at times when the file is scanned.
However, during our testing, we did not make the audio add-on work. The microphones were enabled, the conference was going on, and yet, mysteriously, we could not get any voice signal.
