WinSCP is an FTP client program SSH support, which allows easily transfer files to a remote server.
WinSCP to connect to an SSH (Secure Shell) protocol using SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) service or SCP (Secure Copy Protocol). You can also integrate with Putty WinSCP.
It features intuitive graphical interface (like Windows Explorer) and supports “drag and drop” to move files from one window to another (a window represents local PC files and other files on the server).
The features are similar to those of other FTP clients like CuteFTP not free, while it has more about free software such as Filezilla. Easily send files to the server and download files from the server to the PC. It also allows various actions on folders and files hosted on the remote server, such as: create directories, rename files and directories, modify the properties of reading and writing (equivalent to chmod command), creating symbolic links, and some actions rather than could be done from the command line but require minimal knowledge of Linux.
It content a built-in text editor, which can be very useful when you have to make small changes that require some urgency on a file, avoiding having to open an external editor for that.
Another useful tool present in the FTP client is the synchronization of folders or directories. If changes are made in multiple files, and you want to avoid going up one by one, after finishing with all updates applied this tool, which is responsible for comparing local folders with the server, and upload only modified files .

WinSCP 5.1.0 is the latest version, updated in September 2012, this application can be downloaded for free. It works only for Windows.
This update has already incorporated some improvements to be made in the next issue (number 5, currently beta) and corrected some errors.
