BitComet is a free program to share all kinds of files with other users of the BitTorrent network.
It is notable for the limited resources it uses, as it consumes little memory and processor. The interface is very simple, easy to use and very intuitive to operate, making it highly recommended for distributing large files at a good speed.
Supports multiple simultaneous downloads, has a queue system, periodic attempts download, chat, IP filter, supports proxies, rate setting, and various functions.
During the process of downloading files you can view some multimedia content, supporting various formats of videos and music: mp3, avi, rmvb and wmv, among others. It is even possible, in some cases, preview contents that are compressed and several files distributed type RAR.
This client can be integrated with Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers. For Firefox must be selected during installation of the application the “Integrate with Firefox” so you can install the BitComet, which allows you to capture videos in Flash format from web pages.
BitComet has a smart system optimization that maximizes several aspects: the bandwidth for downloads, the disk cache, disk distribution (to avoid defragmentation), and so on.
