How To Access Earthlink With An iPhone

Earthlink is a supplier of Internet and email which can be used on any iPhone. Earthlink customers are needed to assemble the connection to use iPhone by themselves. As soon as you have entered the proper settings, Earthlink Internet will become principal of a user or email client for the iPhone browser or email application.

Instructions

1:  Configure a user profile with Earthlink.

2:  Enter “Settings” on your iPhone. Go to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”.

3:  Enter “Add Account …”. You will be presented a list of possible email providers and Internet. Choose “Other” at the bottom.

4:  Select “Add Mail Account.” It will be the first option on this screen.

5:  Enter your name in the “Name” option. Then enter your email address Earthlink in the “Address” option, enter the password for Earthlink in the “Password” option. Finally, type the name you want to appear in the “Description” option (eg “John Earthlink Email”).

6: Click “Next” to be brought to the screen in “Incoming mail server”. In “Host Name” enter “pop.earthlink.net”. In “User Name” enter your email address Earthlink. In “Password” enter the password Earthlink.

7: Open the “SMTP” option under “Outgoing Mail Server”. For the host name, type “smtpauth.earthlink.net”. Please enter your email address in “Username” and put in your password. Press the “Save” button.

8: Press the “Mail” application on the home screen. This will automatically connect to your Earthlink account. Please enter your email and password to access your emails (to avoid entering these details each time, press the checkbox “Remember Me”).
