Nero Kwik Burn is the free version of Nero’s most popular CD and DVD recorders. In this new version, Nero provides the basic tools for burning CDs and data DVDs.
The Different between Free Nero version is that the free version does not include the additional tools that have the full version, plus it is not possible to rip music CDs (although you can copy from a disc with MP3 files to another disk).
While the full version of Nero is the most complete for this type of software, there are some other free applications, we have already presented for burning CDs and DVDs as CDBurnerXP, which are good alternatives to Nero
Nero 12 (12.0.01300) Kwik Burn is the latest version (updated in September 2012) of this software can be downloaded for free. It works for Windows 7, Vista and XP.
This multimedia recorder integrates with Nero Kwik Media package, which has other useful tools, such as: Nero Kwik Faces, a photographic facial recognition software, which lets you search and tag people in a photo collection, Nero Kwik Move it to transfer contents as from the PC to mobile phones and other devices; Nero Kwik Blu-ray, and play movies on Blu-ray, and some tools.
This version features advise to the user during the installation process, do not install the Ask.com search bar.
